Ironwood with stippling

Posted on October 28, 2005December 10, 2019

This guy I just finished last week. It’s 154CM with an ironwood stippled handle.

154CM steel with a 10” hollow grind this knife is mirror finished all the way. The bolsters are dovetailed 416ss. The handle is desert ironwood that is stippled. The heat treat is mine and the RC is 59.5RC. The blade length is approximately 4 3/4” and the OAL is 9 3/4”. The sheath is triple dyed with three different colors and then finished with resoline and finally waxed with Bri-wax to give it a depth to the finish you won’t find often.

This one is SOLD!

A close up of the stippling in the handle.
The steel type is etched onto the back side of the blade.
Here is a look at the back side of the sheath.
