Box Elder Boot Dagger

Posted on October 28, 2005December 10, 2019

Box Elder Boot Dagger: Spear point with false sharp edge on top that can be easily sharpened. If you want the top edge sharpened, just let me know. The blade is 154CM heat treated by Paul Bos, 8” hollow ground and is 3 3/4” long and a fraction under 1/4” thick. The overall length is 8”. The handle scales are WSSI stabilized Box Elder Burl with some carving detail. The bolsters are dovetailed and the handle scales sport a red liner for accent. The sheath is a custom split pouch clip on.

This one is SOLD!

Here are views of the front and back of the sheath.
Here is a side view of the sheath propped up by a chunk of mammoth ivory.
One more close up picture of the handle carving.
